P-715 The general nature of work consists of improvement of 29 intersections in the proximity of several schools, including construction of bulb-out, island, sidewalk, curb ramp, cross and longitudinal gutter, tapered curb and gutter extension; painting of high visibility crosswalk, stop bar, and legend; installation of sign, and adjustment of existing utilities, manholes, and valves. The SCAQMD will hold a public hearing if there is evidence that the proposed permit is not correct or is not adequate to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and a hearing will likely provide additional information that will affect the drafting and/or issuance of the permit. Public hearing request forms and the schedule of public hearings may be obtained from the SCAQMD website at http://www.aqmd.gov/home/permits/title-v/public-notices-and-hearings. If a public comment is sent to the SCAQMD for this permit, and the SCAQMD has not addressed the comment in a satisfactory manner, and the EPA has not objected to the proposed permit, then the public may submit a petition requesting that the EPA reconsider the decision not to object.
